Before you button, make sure the fabric behind the zipper is completely flat from top to bottom.

Button the waistband.
As you begin to zip, gently guide the two sides of the fabric together.
Pull → Zip → Pull → Zip.
You may feel slight resistance - that’s the engineered support activating.

Hold one hand at the top button to anchor the waistband.
With the other hand, pull the zipper up smoothly.
