The shapewear is a fully integrated, patent-pending system, not a simple (or flimsy) tummy panel. It includes:

Fit, Feel, & Selection

All our pants feature high-rise cuts because this is the functional foundation for our full-core shaping system.

  • A high rise allows the built-in 360° shapewear panel to comfortably enclose and support the full abdominal region...front, sides, and back.
  • It eliminates the discomfort and visible line (the "muffin top" effect) that often occurs when mid-rise or low-rise jeans hit the stomach in an uncomfortable spot.
  • The high rise ensures the technology is working to lift, smooth, and sculpt without digging in or rolling down.

On first wear, the integrated shapewear may feel firmer than typical non-supportive jeans, but the Adaptive Recovery Stretch fabric is soft, breathable, and designed to move with you. You get the structural support and smoothing of shapewear without the pinching or restriction.

Because MURJER™ pants feature a high-performance, integrated 360° shapewear panel, they are engineered for a snug, sculpting fit right out of the bag.

  • Initial Snugness: The first time you zip them up, the denim and the shapewear are working together to lock in the pant's intended structure. This initial zip may feel tight as the fabric molds to your unique body shape.
  • The Break-In: Don't worry about forcing it. The seams are reinforced to prevent ripping. Once you successfully zip them the first time, the premium denim and our Adaptive Recovery Stretch fabric will "break-in" and adapt.
  • Smoother Wear: You'll find that subsequent wears are significantly smoother, with the zipper gliding more easily and the fit feeling like a comfortable second skin that maintains its support. The tighter pull of the zipper is a sign the sculpting technology is working exactly as designed.

  • If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for comfort, or sizing down if you prefer maximum sculpting.
  • Because the fit is engineered to sculpt and smooth your figure, it will feel snug initially, which is by design. The fabric will give slightly, shaping to your curves but not bagging out.

We are committed to fit for all women and are actively expanding our size range.

  • Petite & Tall Inseams: We are currently rolling out extended & reduced inseams for both longer & shorter heights.
  • Extended Size Widths: We are also working to expand our size widths for curvier figures.

Care & Order Questions

To preserve the sculpting properties and premium quality:

  • Machine wash cold, inside-out, on the gentle cycle.
  • Use mild detergent.
  • No bleach or softeners.
  • No Dry Clean
  • Hang Dry is recommended.
  • If you need to hem, use a professional tailor. Let them know it's sculpting denim so they can maintain the shapewear panel alignment. We can also help with tips and suggestions per style to maintain the original wash look on the hem or the shape of the leg, just contact us.
